How USDT works in the Syrius program: payouts, network and conversion
A direct guide to USDT in the Syrius program: TRC20 vs BSC vs Polygon, timing, network fees and wallet best practices.
USDTCryptoPayouts
USDT is the monetary rail of the Syrius program. Choosing a stablecoin over fiat solves three problems at once: international friction, settlement time, and FX volatility inside the user balance.
Supported networks
- TRC20 (Tron): lowest network fee. Default for small, frequent withdrawals.
- BSC (BNB Smart Chain): fast, cheap, widely supported by exchanges.
- Polygon: cheap EVM alternative for users already active in DeFi.
Timing and confirmations
Deposits are credited after the required confirmations (usually 1-3 minutes). Withdrawals run through an internal anti-fraud check before broadcast — almost always instant, with an audit window on large amounts.
Wallet best practices
- Always confirm the network before sending. USDT-TRC20 sent to a BSC address is a total loss.
- Keep a dedicated wallet to receive Syrius payouts — accounting and tax separation.
- Store the transaction hash of every withdrawal for reconciliation.
Conversion to local currency
Prefer regulated exchanges in your jurisdiction for off-ramp. Syrius does not run FX or extended custody — the balance belongs to the user, and the decision to keep in stablecoin or convert is theirs.
